About 50 undocumented immigrants were reportedly detained in recent Houston-area raids.
Houston: 50 immigrants allegedly detained
According to the Criminal Investigation Division of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s Office, raids were carried out in the Houston metropolitan region.
The division allegedly targeted locations “known to promote or be connected with criminal activity.”
According to the office, 50 people have been detained as a result, and the suspects were reportedly turned over to the Departments of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The office did not provide any additional information about the raids or the time window in which they were conducted.
