An 18-year-old committed to the South Mountain Restoration Center has been charged with aggravated assault after police claimed he “physically attacked” an employee.
According to the affidavit, on December 11, 2025, Isaiah Valorie of Franklin County punched the employee multiple times in the head and face, causing a concussion.
The employee reported to police that Valorie had become “extremely agitated and began threatening staff and other residents.”
Valorie’s motive is unknown, however the affidavit stated that his actions “appear to be premeditated and unprovoked.”
