A Toledo woman has been sentenced for her involvement in the murder of 86-year-old Warren Taylor from Port Clinton.
According to court documents, Iesha Goodell entered into a plea deal in which she admitted to involuntary manslaughter, aggravated robbery, and evidence tampering. The nine additional charges against her were withdrawn as part of the plea agreement during sentencing.
According to court documents, Goodell was sentenced to between 20 and 25.5 years in jail. She has also been ordered to pay $1,382 in reparations to the victim’s family.
Goodell received credit for 169 days service.
The charges against the other suspect in the case were dropped after he died of “natural causes” on December 11.
