Police: 2 Dead And 1 Arrested In Overnight Wrong-way North Texas Crash

Fort Worth police said two people died after an overnight crash on I-35W and Garden Acres Drive.

Officials reported that the accident happened at 2:08 a.m. after a car drove the wrong way down I-35W’s northbound lanes. According to authorities, the wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle, killing the two in the other car.

According to jail records, Fort Worth police arrested 18-year-old Axel Perez on counts of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will announce the names of the two people killed.
