A man claiming to be a mailman was apprehended in Orlando for stealing mail.
Orlando Police Department officers responded to the Aria Beach Apartments on South Semoran Boulevard after receiving allegations of a male breaking into a community mailbox.
When authorities arrived, they discovered the suspect in the act of stealing mail and apprehended him without incident. According to OPD, the individual did not have a truck or a uniform.
The suspect was later identified as Sean Cronin. According to police, he was caught with burglary tools and a big amount of mail from many apartment complexes in the neighborhood.
Cronin was apprehended and charged with grand theft, loitering and prowling, possession of burglary tools, and possession of personal identification information.
