24-year-old Man Found Shot To Death On Chicago’s South Side

A 24-year-old man was discovered shot to death late Monday night inside an apartment building in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.

Officers went to a call for service at 11:44 p.m. in the 800 block of West 66th Street, where they found an unresponsive man in a hallway with apparent gunshot wounds to the face and stomach, according to police.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office recognized him as Terrell Britten of Chicago.

Police stated a weapon was found at the scene. Additional information on the circumstances of the incident was not immediately available.

Area One detectives are conducting an investigation.
