A St. Louis man was sentenced to life in prison nearly a month after being convicted of a fatal shooting in 2022.
Joshua Grace, 23, received a life sentence and a 15-year concurrent term after being convicted of second-degree murder and armed criminal action. The allegations originate from the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Ra’hmello Stewart.
The fatal shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. on September 29, 2022, in the Spanish Cove apartment complex in Florissant, according to St. Louis County police. According to prosecutors, Grace shot Stewart in the back of the head during a drug sale at his own home.
Judge Mary Elizabeth Ott accepted the jury’s sentence recommendation.
