Four men are facing criminal charges for allegedly assaulting a victim outside an Amazon facility, resulting in significant injuries.
The Rossford Police Department announced the charges on March 10, following an attack on February 28.
A police statement reveals that a 21-year-old man suffered serious physical injuries and required hospitalization during an incident on the 27000 block of Crossroads Parkway. The investigation resulted in felonious assault accusations against four men:
- Javian Dildy, 22, of Toledo
- Shemar Dildy, 20, of Toledo
- Nathaniel Ward, 28, of Toledo
- Jeron Phillips, 19, of Toledo
All four men are set to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on March 19.
An Amazon spokeswoman told 13 Action News that the victim of the incident was an employee.
“Our thoughts are with our employee while he heals, and our staff has reached out to him to offer support. The safety and security of our personnel is our number one priority.” This was a terrible incident, and we are fully cooperating with the investigation by the Rossford Police Departmenttement stated.
According to the spokeswoman, the company’s security personnel called 911 for assistance.
