Shooting Suspect Apprehended by FBI at Indianapolis International Airport

FBI agents apprehended a man linked to a shooting from earlier this month at Indianapolis International Airport on Tuesday.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force apprehended 37-year-old Keith White at the Indianapolis Airport as he deplaned a flight. Agents initially discovered White in El Paso, Texas, and claimed he went to Denver, Colorado, before coming to Indianapolis.

On Friday, March 6, at about 1:15 a.m., IMPD North District officers responded to the 3700 block of Graceland Avenue for a report of a shooting. They found a man with gunshot wounds and learned that the incident took place in the 220 block of W 38th Street.

IMPD Aggravated Assault detectives later identified White as the shooter. Detectives got an arrest order for him on Monday and found him at the airport the next day.

The FBI stated that White was also on federal supervised release for a previous cocaine trafficking charge.
