Three juveniles were shot Wednesday night in a north Phoenix area near Cave Creek Road and Greenway Parkway, causing yet another block along the congested roadway. Officers arrived to find two of the adolescents on the site, each with at least one gunshot wound, while a third juvenile had already been transported to a hospital before police arrived. The gunman or shooters had fled, and detectives had subsequently cordoned off the area to investigate.
According to 12News, cops went to reports of shooting and found two children with at least one gunshot wound apiece. Phoenix firefighters brought the victims to hospitals with critical injuries, and a third youngster had already been transported by the time police arrived. The authorities have not yet disclosed any identifying information about the victims as the investigation continues.
According to Phoenix police, the suspect(s) fled before cops arrived, and detectives are combing the neighborhood for witnesses and video footage.
