A man was detained, and two pounds of suspected cannabis were confiscated during a search warrant execution at a Baltimore smoke shop on Tuesday.
According to the Baltimore Police Department, on March 17, at about 1:10 p.m., officers executed a search and seizure warrant at a smoke shop in the 2100 block of East Monument Street.
Authorities discovered two pounds of suspected cannabis, each wrapped for sale.
A 22-year-old man was in the shop, wearing an “Armed Security” ballistic vest.
Police say he had a loaded gun and was seen selling suspected cannabis goods from within the establishment.
The individual was apprehended and transported to Baltimore City’s Central Booking Intake Facility.
He is facing many controlled substance and firearms offenses.
