Police were actively searching for a missing four-year-old girl in Chula Vista on Monday evening, officials said.
Around 6:24 p.m., the Chula Vista Police Department reported that a helicopter near Salt Creek Park was broadcasting information about a missing child named Mila.
According to police, the girl is Hispanic and has short, dark brown hair. The girl was wearing a purple unicorn blouse and purple trousers. She was last spotted at 1300 Old Janal Ranch Rd. around 5:30 p.m.
Around 7 p.m., the police department issued another announcement, stating that the missing child had been found and was “safe and sound.”
