Nua Mitaj, 33, of New Rochelle, was arraigned before a Westchester County judge on Tuesday, March 24, on counts of first-degree rape, third-degree rape, and first-degree sexual abuse, according to the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.

A provisional order of protection has been issued on behalf of the victim.
District Attorney Susan Cacace stated that the matter will be pursued forcefully.
“No” means no. That is the beginning and end of the conversation…we will ensure that he is promptly punished and held accountable for his alleged actions,” Cacace said in a statement on Thursday.
The New Rochelle Police Department performed the inquiry.
