A man was shot and died in his vehicle in the East Las Vegas Valley while listening to music early Friday morning, according to police.
According to police, the incident occurred inside an apartment complex on the 2800 block of East Bonanza Road, near North Eastern Avenue.
On Friday, March 27, about 12:45 a.m., a woman contacted 911 and reported that her boyfriend had been shot, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Lieutenant Robert Price said during a media briefing early that morning.
Officers arrived and discovered a man inside a vehicle suffering from several gunshot wounds. Police provided aid until medical personnel arrived and pronounced the individual deceased on the scene.
Price stated that the man was inside the vehicle, listening to music. A fight between two men was heard by witnesses, followed by several gunshots.
The victim’s girlfriend walked outside to check on him and discovered he’d been shot.
Price said there were no suspect details at publication and that police were unsure if the suspect and victim knew each other.

Price added that this is the 23rd homicide in Metro’s jurisdiction this year, including a murder-suicide on Thursday night in the 8200 block of Cupertino Heights Way, near Buffalo Drive and Mountain’s Edge Parkway.
