A Westmoreland County man had been apprehended on Thursday and suspected of breaking into a North Side church.
Police were dispatched to St. Boniface on East Street at 3 p.m. when a church cleaner discovered smashed glass and an open entrance door.
A K9 officer was dispatched inside and discovered the man on a couch in the corridor.
Monsignor Larry DiNardo states, “You never know what people are going through.”You never know what additional troubles people may have faced in their life, but who knows. “You can never tell,” he explained.
Ahmet Zaimoglu [zy MOW glue] faces burglary, trespassing, and vandalism charges.
