A man and a woman are dead in Glendale after being shot at least one Saturday night, according to authorities.
Around 8:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting near 39th Avenue and Salter Drive.
Police arrived at a nearby house and discovered two victims with gunshot wounds. The Phoenix Police Department reported that both victims succumbed to their injuries on the scene.
An initial investigation by Phoenix police’s Homicide Unit finds that the man “likely shot and killed the woman before turning the gun on himself.”
The specifics of the homicide will be finalized after the Office of the Medical Examiner conducts autopsies on the unidentified deceased.
