A man with nearly $40,000 in outstanding child support was arrested on Monday, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Michael Aniszewski, 59, has been on the run since November 2024, when a bench warrant was issued for his failure to appear for a status conference for nonpayment of child support.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives discovered Aniszewski was residing on Pittsburgh’s North Side on Monday and were able to locate him and arrest him without incident.
After being arrested, Aniszewski was escorted to family court to stand before a judge.
