Rivers Casino employee accused of stealing nearly $2000

An employee at Pittsburgh’s River Casino is suspected of stealing nearly $2,000 from a cash register.

On March 20, Rivers Casino security informed state police that a finance audit revealed a $1,931.95 shortfall between January 16 and March 14. During that time, security reported that the cash register drawer was short thirteen times.

According to police, Jacqueline Lu, 18, of Monroeville, is accused of theft. She serves as a host at one of the casino’s restaurants.

Lu was served with a summons for theft by unauthorized taking.
