A man was detained on Monday for allegedly stealing a bank in Miami Township.
A robbery for the township, which said the incident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. at the Key Bank on Miamisburg Centerville Road.
A man, later identified as 62-year-old John Butler, allegedly handed a note to a teller demanding cash.
Butler fled the bank after the teller gave in to his demand.
Flock cameras also spotted a suspect vehicle, which officers discovered on Interstate 75.
Officers pulled over the vehicle and arrested Butler.
“He is also under investigation for what appears to be a large amount of drugs on his person,” the official told NewsCenter 7.
Butler is being housed in the Montgomery County Jail.
