A woman was apprehended at the “No Kings” rally held in Town Center on Saturday, according to Virginia Beach police.
According to Virginia Beach police, Jessica Brooke Pinsky, 40, was detained and charged with disorderly conduct and pedestrian in the roadway.
In reaction to the worldwide rallies against the Trump administration, a White House spokesperson issued the following statement:
“The only people who care about these protests are the journalists who are paid to cover them.
Organizers expect thousands to attend Saturday’s event.
Some guests stated that the movement is expanding as more people experience the effects of national crises. Many people expressed surprise and unhappiness with developments in the country after the last “No Kings” rally.
