A 29-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot Tuesday night while exiting his car on Chicago’s far South Side.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:43 p.m. on East 118th Street in the West Pullman neighborhood.
Officers responding to a report of a person who was shot discovered a 29-year-old male with two gunshot wounds in his chest.
Police say the man was shot as he exited his vehicle. He was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
It’s unclear whether the gunfire was random or targeted.
There have been no arrests announced. Detectives from Area Two are conducting an investigation.
