Police are searching for answers after a victim was discovered shot to death on the Southwest Side early Thursday morning.
At 4:15 a.m., police discovered the victim unresponsive in the 3100 block of West 39th Place, Brighton Park.
According to authorities, the victim, an adult male, was shot in the head and torso and pronounced dead at the site.
Authorities have yet to identify the victim, and the cause of the shooting remains a mystery.
An investigation into the horrific incident is still underway.
