WARREN, Ohio – Warren police recovered several shell casings and discovered multiple gunshot holes inside an apartment in Warren on Monday.
Officers responded to the apartment in the 500 block of Commerce Street NW shortly after 12:30 a.m., where they found a room that had been struck by gunfire multiple times. They also located 18 shell casings outside the apartment.
Two women inside the apartment told police they were not struck by any gunfire or projectiles. When questioned, one woman said she did not know anyone who would have targeted the apartment.
According to the police report, officers found a man’s clothing and items consistent with drug trafficking in one of the bedrooms.
