Tarikka Jones, a Winter Garden resident, was detained early Friday morning, April 3, after a man flagged down an Orlando Police Department officer, alleging she was inside Eden Lounge and had a warrant for her arrest for grand theft from September 2025.
After validating the warrant, the police officer apprehended her without incident.
During the search, the officer found a black chemical device in Jones’ purse.
Based on the officer’s training and experience, the device was identified as destructive and/or chemical in nature.
Jordan, a twice-convicted felon, was then charged with possession of a chemical agent by a convicted felon.
A plastic bag containing cannabis was discovered inside her purse, as was a paper wrapper with many broken pills, later identified as Alprazolam.
Jordan is now also facing state misdemeanor charges for possession of Alprazolam.
She is currently out on bond.
