A Summerfield man has been apprehended following a battle with his wife over a treadmill.

Aaron Sherrod Stilley, 33, is facing a felony charge of violence after being arrested Monday by Marion County sheriff’s officers at his house in the Belleview Heights subdivision.

Stilley intended to sell the treadmill, but his wife evidently disapproved of the deal. According to the arrest report, she attempted to cut the treadmill cord. Stilley, who is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds, used his shoulder to push her out of the path, knocking her to the ground.

He was brought into arrest and put into Marion County Jail, where he was first held without bond.
