A shooting early Sunday inside a Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority apartment building left one person dead and another under arrest.
Authorities said the incident took at around 12:30 a.m. at the CMHA apartments on East 98th Street.
According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office, 19-year-old Faith Fortune of Tiffin died as a result of a gunshot to the head. She was pronounced deceased by first responders on the scene.
CHMA police reported that a 34-year-old man was apprehended immediately after cops arrived. His name has not been released.
Cleveland police are conducting the investigation and have not provided any new information.
