A man was discovered dead in his home in Ansonia last week.
Police claimed they were summoned to 55-year-old Carlos Gonzalez’s residence on November 4 around 5:30 p.m. for a welfare check.
When they arrived at the home on Prindle Avenue, they discovered Gonzalez had died.
He was the only person home at the time.
“At this time there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances regarding the death of the individual,” said Lt. Patrick Lynch, public information officer, Ansonia Police Department.
An autopsy was performed; however, authorities claimed the reason and manner of death are being investigated further.
