A traffic stop by the Scranton Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit resulted in the arrest of a Mississippi man on various drug-related offenses, authorities said.
On November 10, police stopped a car in the 100 block of South Main Avenue and identified the driver as Bobby Sartin, 59, of Mississippi. During the stop, cops allegedly discovered multiple controlled substances, US currency, drug paraphernalia, and a cell phone.
Sartin was arrested and charged with felony possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of altered, forged, or counterfeit documents or plates.
He was processed at the Lackawanna County Justice Center and remains in custody.
