An 18-year-old man is facing charges after Bowie police say he robbed a student outside a high school in October.
On Wednesday morning, police detained Koby Allen at a home in the 200 block of Harry S. Truman Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Officers reported discovering two loaded “ghost guns” during the arrest, as well as the robbery victim’s shoes and jacket.
The robbery occurred on October 13 outside Bowie High School.
According to police, Allen approached the victim in a black Acura TLX and stole the student’s Moose Knuckle jacket and shoes, according to a press release.
Investigators say a witness attempted to pursue Allen, who then fired two rounds into the air. The witness then halted their chase.
