On Wednesday, Nov. 12, a detective from Cañon City detained a 71-year-old man in Arizona for alleged sexual assault on a child.
Cañon City Police Department (CCPD) reported that Detective Michael Gordon arrested John Harold Pfalzgraff of Huachuca City, Arizona. Pfalzgraff faces charges for:
- 18-3-405.3. – Sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust (F3) – 2 counts
- 18-3-405(2)(d) – Sexual assault on a child (F3) – 2 counts
- 18-3-404(1)(b) – Unlawful sexual contact (M1) – 2 counts
- 18-6-401(1) – Child abuse(M2) – 2 counts
According to CCPD, the crime is believed to have occurred in Cañon City.
CCPD would like to thank the Huachuca City Police Department for their assistance in apprehending Pfalzgraff and accommodating Detective Gordon during his visit to the city.
