UPDATE: The Silver Alert has been cancelled and missing El Pasoan Primitivo Chavez has been found and is safe, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
ORIGINAL: A 75-year-old El Paso man has gone missing, prompting a statewide Silver Alert.
El Paso Police report that they last saw Primitivo Chavez, 75, around 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 22. Primitivo Chavez, 75, departed from a care facility located on the 3100 block of Forney Lane in East El Paso and has not been in contact since.
According to police, Chavez has a medical issue that requires medicine and no means of communication.
The El Paso Police Department is seeking assistance in locating him.
