Tea and Topics to be held Oct. 7 in Pomeroy
POMEROY, Ohio – The Chester Shade and Wildwood Garden Clubs will be holding a special event Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at the Ewing – Schwarzel Family Center in Pomeroy.
From 1-1:30 p.m. Lorna Hart, Something Special Designs, will present “Floral Patterns of Depression Era Glass”. She will be followed from 1:30-2 p.m. by Maureen Burns-Hooker with Herbal Sage Tea Company. Burns-Hooker’s presents is entitled, “Use of Herbs During the Depression Era”. Tea and Accompaniments will be from 2-3 p.m.
Organizers note that the Meigs Master Gardeners will hold a plant exchange at 11 a.m. before the tea at the Riverbend Arts Council in Middleport. The plant exchange is being held during Riverbend’s “Art in the Village” which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
