A man and two others were injured early Saturday when a pickup truck collided with a tree in the 100 block of S. Main Street, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and medics arrived at the site just before 1:20 a.m. An early examination determined that a 2001 red Chevrolet Silverado was going south on S. Main Street when it drifted off to the left and collided with a tree.
Dylan Ackley, 21, was taken by medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two people were transferred to Reid Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies think that drinking played a role in the crash. The incident is still under investigation.
