Charles R. ‘Charlie Boy’ Wolfe, 79
Charles R. “Charlie Boy” Wolfe, 79, Racine, passed away at 8:23 P.M. Friday, November 10, 2017 at his Letart Township home. Born November 24, 1937 in Syracuse, Ohio he was the son of the late Raymond and Virginia Hall Wolfe. He was a farmer, a U.S. Army veteran and attended the Mount Moriah Church of God.
He married Lois M. Arnott on September 21, 1966 in Syracuse, Ohio and she survives as does two sons, Charlie (Elizabeth) Wolfe Jr., Racine and Chad (Angie) Wolfe, Pomeroy, five grandchildren, Ashlyn Wolfe, Garrett Wolfe, Jeremy Barnhart, Angie George and Heather Johnson and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Florence (Leland) Bumgarner, of New Haven, West Virginia, Maxine (Robert) Holliday, of Racine, Allah (Doug Hensley) Lambert, of Syracuse, Mary Kay (Robert) Edwards, of Letart, West Virginia, Carol Smith, of Syracuse and Barbara Reinhart, of Racine. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Claudia Wolfe, of Pomeroy and JoAnn Collins of Racine and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Wolfe Barnhart, and two brothers, Paul Wolfe and Franklin Arthur Wolfe.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine. Officiating will be Pastors Jim Satterfield and Jerry Powell. Interment will be in the Letart Falls Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Meigs County Veterans Service organizations. Friends may call from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
