2017 Meigs County Cancer Survivor Dinner Held
POMEROY, Ohio – The Meigs County Cancer Survivor Dinner was held on Nov. 3, 2017 at Meigs High School.
The Meigs County Cancer Initiative, Inc. was the coordinating organization. This year’s theme was lung cancer awareness.
There were more than 70 in attendance including 44 cancer survivors. The keynote speaker was Vincent Daniel, MD of OhioHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Surgeons. Meigs County Health Dept. also offered tobacco cessation information.
Barbara Arnold catered the event and Kim Argabright made the decorative cakes. Entertainment and photography were provided by Roger and Mary Gilmore.
