Those wishing for a snowy Christmas in Pennsylvania this year may be in luck, according to the most recent GFS model run.

As of Sunday evening, the GFS predicts waves of snow in Pennsylvania beginning Monday evening and lasting until Christmas Day.

It is crucial to note that this is not a forecast but rather the output of a single weather model.

The current run of the GFS model predicts that much of Pennsylvania will receive 1 to 4 inches of snow by Christmas Day on Thursday.

The GFS now predicts that Susquehanna, Bradford, Tioga, Potter, and Lycoming counties will receive the most snow, with 4+ inches probable.

Central Pennsylvania expects 2–3 inches of snow, while western and southern Pennsylvania may receive an inch or two.
