Authorities have found a 12-year-old girl who went missing in the Lady Lake area.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 12-year-old girl who is thought to be armed.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office reported a large law enforcement presence Thursday near Curve Court and Precedent Parkway in Lady Lake while deputies searched for the child.
The girl is described as white, 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 111 pounds, and having medium-length red hair. Authorities claimed she was last seen wearing a gray blouse, pants, and black and white Crocs.
Officials urged the public not to approach the child, who is deemed armed.
