Name Released, Investigation Continuing in Bradbury Road Death
POMEROY, Ohio – More information has been released following the discovery of a body a residence on Bradbury Raod on Feb. 14, 2018.
Meigs County Sheriff Keith Wood told the Meigs Independent Press a call came into the Sheriff’s Office at 4:27 p.m. about an unresponsive person. Deputies responded to the residence, but no one answered the door or appeared to be there. Given the nature of the call, deputies made entry to the residence and discovered Jacqueline Lynn Petrie, 53, deceased. It appears to be an overdose, however, the body was sent to Montgomery County for autopsy.
The home is owned by Linda Stobart, and authorities are currently seeking to talk to her along with interviewing other individuals. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations (B.C.I.) was called in along with Meigs County Coroner Dr. Daniel Whitely.
Sheriff Wood said the matter is still under investigation.
