Nancy Lee Griffith, 73

Nancy Lee Griffith, 73, went to be with Our Lord at 10 a.m. on March 3, 2018. She passed away peacefully with family at her side at the home of her daughter Autumn Buskirk following an extended illness.

Nancy Lee Griffith was born September 1, 1944 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to her parents Leslie Boone Carr and Ruth Elizabeth Downey Carr. Nancy worked the majority of her adult life caring for others as a Lab technician and as a State Tested Nursing Assistant. She is survived in life by her husband Danny Michael Griffith of 60 years, her son Troy Michael Griffith, her daughter Autumn Margaret Buskirk (James Buskirk). She also has a legacy of grand children in Brandon Hill, Hollie Griffith Stanley (John Stanley) Rosanna Dillard, Heidi Griffith Kinder(Josh Kinder ), Boone Griffith, Mckenzie Whobrey, River Griffith , Mollee, Marlee, and Griffin Buskirk, and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many good friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Boone and Ruth Carr, her sisters Rita Yeager and Charlotte Carr, her brother Ronnie Carr, her daughters Gina Griffith, and Kelly Griffith Hill, and two Grandsons Daniel Griffith, and Colton Troy Hawk.

Nancy was a member of the Middleport First Baptist Church for many years as well as often seeking prayer and guidance from family pastor and good friend Mark Morrow. Nancy had strong belief in God, and a strong love of family, she will be sorely missed by all.

Visiting hours for Nancy will be Wednesday March 7, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. also at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.
