Roger M. Davidson, 85

Roger M. Davidson, 85, of Middleport, Ohio passed into the arms of Christ peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Arbors at Pomeroy.

Born December 25, 1932 in Pomeroy, he was the son of the late Earnest and Clara Ebersbach Davidson. Roger was a 1952 graduate of Pomeroy High School where he played the drums in the marching band. He spent most of his life in sales and appraising real estate and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by friends, fellow veterans, the congregation at Trinity Congregational Church and the Smith family, Randy, Beverly, Savannah, Brycen, Quentin and Carter of Pomeroy whom Roger adopted as his family.

Graveside services will be at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Beech Grove Cemetery in Pomeroy with Randy Smith officiating. Military services will be conducted by the combined color guard from the Middleport American Legion and Tuppers Plains VFW. Visitation will be at Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy from 11 a.m. till noon on Wednesday morning. Friends are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net
