An investigation is underway on Wednesday morning after a woman was discovered dead inside a home on the city’s Far South Side overnight.
Police said the victim was discovered approximately 10 p.m. on Tuesday inside a home in the 10100 block of South State Street in Roseland.
Officers said the victim, a 46-year-old woman, was discovered unresponsive on the floor of a nearby home. Firefighters arrived later and pronounced her dead.
It is now unclear what caused the victim’s death, and an investigation is underway.
