Holzer Walk with a Doc Features Dr. Marazon
GALLIPOLIS, Ohio – Holzer will host the Walk with a Doc walking program on Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holzer Therapy and Wellness Center, located at 735 Second Avenue, Gallipolis, Ohio. The walk will feature Christopher Marazon, DO, Family Practice, who will be available for any questions.
Dr. Marazon is a graduate of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens, Ohio, and completed his residency and internship from Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia.
He is Board Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Marazon sees patients at Holzer’s Sycamore location in Gallipolis and at the Holzer Wound Care Center in Jackson, Ohio. In addition to patient care, Dr. Marazon is the Holzer Family Medicine Residency Program Director.
Holzer encourages anyone in the community to join the walk. This is a FREE program and pre-registration is not required. Monthly walks are planned and will be announced via the Walk with a Doc website, www.walkwithadoc.org, as well as at www.holzer.org and Holzer’s social media channels. If weather permits, the walks will begin at the Center and continue around the Gallipolis City Park. In case of inclement weather, the walk will be held inside the Center.
Walk with a Doc is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages, and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle in order to improve the health and well-being of the country. Gallipolis joins a growing list of communities nationwide that have created local Walk with a Doc (WWAD) programs.
