Courthouse offices to close for services of Byer and Story
POMEROY, Ohio – Several offices are closing to allow employees to attend the services for Judge Steven Story and Bob Byer this week.
Both Story and Byer contributed greatly to the county and was well known to employees at the courthouse and throughout county government as well as the citzens of Meigs County.
Offices in the Meigs County Courthouse will be closed Thursday, June 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Byer’s funeral. The Meigs County Commissioners meeting scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 21 has been moved to 1 p.m.
Offices in the courthouse will also be closed Friday, June 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Judge Story’s funeral. The Meigs County Prosecutor’s Office will be closed on June 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
