Texas Man Taken Into Custody After Armed Road Rage On Highway 65

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, around 12:45 p.m., Arkansas State Police (ASP) received a report of an armed road rage incident near U.S. Highway 65 and State Highway 25 North in Greenbrier. Troopers obtained a description of the suspect car and notified the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office. VBCSO deputies pulled over the suspect vehicle on U.S. Highway 65 north of Bee Branch.

Troopers came to the traffic stop and arrested the driver, Bryan Ezzell, 44, from Spring, Texas. Inside the pickup, VBCSO deputies discovered a weapon that matched the victim’s description but had two rounds missing.

Officers also found felony quantities of illegal marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Ezzell was taken to the Faulkner County Detention Center and charged with three charges of aggravated assault, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
