A man faces charges after officials seized large amounts of methamphetamine and fentanyl from his home.
Christopher Gene Meyer, 47, is charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in a fentanyl-related chemical, and aggravated drug possession.
After receiving complaints from area residents, the Preble County Sheriff’s and Prosecutor’s offices initiated the inquiry.
The investigation centered on reported drug activities in the College Corner area.
Investigators searched the home at 115 Eaton St.
During the search, officials discovered about 240 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 47 grams of suspected fentanyl.
Investigators also seized several drug-related items discovered on the property.
Meyer remains in the Preble County Jail.
The court has set a bond for his release, which he has not yet posted.
