A woman was arrested Wednesday morning after police allegedly discovered various drugs worth approximately $17,000.
Denise Raymond, 25, of Scranton, faces several charges, including possession with intent to supply, after police claim they discovered 179 grams of crack cocaine and 20 grams of marijuana while conducting a search warrant at her residence.
According to officials with the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office, the search warrant was issued as part of an ongoing investigation in Scranton.
Lackawanna County District Attorney Brian Gallagher stated in a press release that law enforcement agencies are “working hand in hand, focused on the goal of removing dangerous drugs from our neighborhoods and keeping our families safe.”
