Driver arrested after shots fired in road rage incident on Interstate 80

One person was arrested after an early morning road rage shooting Saturday on Interstate 80 in Sparks.

According to Nevada State Police, the incident occurred shortly after 5 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 80, just west of USA Parkway.

Gunshots struck the victim’s car, but the driver remained unharmed.

Clancey Harry of Nixon was arrested without incident and placed into the Washoe County Jail. Deputies with the Storey County Sheriff’s Office assisted in tracking down his vehicle.

Harry faces charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, shooting a firearm from a vehicle, and discharging a firearm into an inhabited car.
