Lakeland Woman Apprehended At Home On Osceola County Fraud And Racketeering Warrant

A 54-year-old Lakeland woman was arrested this weekend after Polk County deputies located her on an outstanding warrant from a neighboring county. Dawn Marie Salvati was seized without incident Friday morning at her home on South Wabash Avenue.

The arrest occurred at 9:45 a.m. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the home to serve an Osceola County warrant. The warrant cited probation violations for earlier accusations of racketeering and organized fraud.

When deputies knocked on the front door, Salvati met them and promptly surrendered.

Law enforcement officers confirmed her arrest on the Osceola County warrant and processed her at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

According to deputies, her prior criminal record includes several convictions, including driving under the influence and cocaine possession, as well as a serious accusation of organized fraud involving more than $50,000.

She was transported for booking.
