The Endangered Missing Child Alert for a 15-year-old nonverbal autistic kid has been discontinued after he was located safe.
The adolescent fled 1 Medical Center in Middletown about 1:10 a.m. Monday but was apprehended at 4:21 a.m., according to Middletown police on their Facebook page.
Police did not reveal how he escaped the institution or where he was discovered.
