A 43-year-old man has been sentenced to prison for trafficking drugs in Cuyahoga County and Northeast Ohio, according to the Department of Justice.
Omari Clifton of Garfield Heights was sentenced to 292 months in prison for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, and multiple weapons crimes.
Clifton was also ordered to undergo four years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
Clifton was identified as a narcotics trafficker following an inquiry that began in October 2024.
In December 2024, a search warrant was executed at his Garfield Heights residence.
Task force officers seized fentanyl, cocaine, cocaine base, scales, baggies, several telephones, cash, and two loaded weapons.
The Southeast Area Law Enforcement Task Force and the FBI Cleveland Division Cartel, Gang, Narcotics, and Laundering Task Force worked together to undertake the investigation.
